The Haitian population in the US is highly concentrated in a few states: New York, Miami, Chicago, Boston, and Atlanta. NYFOH aims to connect Haitians around the globe to help empower Haiti through the following initiatives:

Seeking partnerships with agencies that could bring added value to our community.
Looking towards grants and sponsorships to create scholarships for exceptional students as they take their next steps towards college.
Alleviating poverty in Haiti.
Enriching the economies of underprivileged rural areas.
Strengthening relationships among the Haitian Diaspora and other ethnic groups.
Uplifting the lives of our fellow Haitians.
Protecting Haiti’s biodiversity.
Eradicating all adult illiteracy.
Promoting economic recovery and job creation.
