2010 THE FIRST HAITIAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE DEBATE
THE HAITIAN DIASPORA PRESENTS THE FIRST HAITIAN PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

“These upcoming presidential elections are critical to Haiti’s rebuilding process, mainly with the Diaspora’s involvement” said Mr. Patrick ELIANCY, the long time TV Host of Island TV who will be the moderator for the first Haitian presidential debate in Miami, Florida on November 14th, 2010. Among the 19 candidates in attendance will be: Mme. Mirlande H. Manigat, Mr. Charles Henry Baker Mr. Jean Henri CEANT, Mr. Michel Joseph MARTELLY, Mr. Garaudy LAGUERRE, Mr. Jean Chavanes JEUNE, Mr. Wilson JEUDY. Even though the Diaspora’s votes are suppressed, Friends of Haiti wants to put the debate in one of the most concentrated zones of the Haitian Diaspora.
