Immigration Advocacy & Public Policy Program

Immigration Law and How to Navigate It on Your Path to Naturalization

The Immigration Advocacy and Public Policy Program focuses on public policy issues surrounding immigrants, detainees, refugees, and asylum seekers. It organizes “Know Your Rights” presentations, assists members with completing INS forms, and conducts workshops on immigration matters and citizenship procedures.

We connect migrants with local community resources and provide transit support for recently released migrants. Additionally, the program holds citizenship classes with an English literacy component.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our conference “Immigration Law and How to Navigate It on Your Path to Naturalization” has been moved to a virtual format.
