Youth play a pivotal role in fostering cultural exchange and driving economic integration. It’s crucial to invest in our youth and provide them with the necessary resources and opportunities to thrive.
During our International Youth Day event, Haitian youth voiced their concerns about their future. Many expressed frustrations over the limited employment opportunities and the scarcity of resources available to their families. The children of farmers lamented the decline of agriculture in Haiti and shared their experiences of violence and fear, which have sadly become all too common in their lives, leaving them feeling hopeless.
Mentoring and mentorship are much needed in remote areas like Savanne Entouree, Northern Haiti. These youth are left by themselves with no hope of a better future to look forward to. With your help, we can change this narrative.
We believe that by empowering and engaging our youth, we can pave the way for a brighter future in Haiti. Together, let’s support their aspirations, address their concerns, and work towards building a more inclusive and prosperous society.
