From Miami, Florida, in North America to Kinshasa, Congo, in Africa, Haitians observing closely the events that are unfolding in their motherland went to the polls to cast their symbolic votes for their preferred Presidential Candidates in a multinational event organized by the organization Friends of Haiti 2010 Inc.

Deforestation is responsible for more CO2 in the atmosphere than all of the world’s cars and trucks combined.
Unfortunately in Haiti the entire mountains have been deforested, new findings indicate that at current deforestation rates, all of Haiti’s primary forest will be gone within the next two decades, leading to the loss of most of the country’s endemic species.
